Croatian President Ivo Josipovic received the European Parliament's Rapporteur on Croatia, Hannes Swoboda, in Zagreb on Friday, the President's Office said in a press release.
They discussed the process of Croatia's accession to the European Union, highlighting Croatia's commitment to the implementation of the necessary reforms.
President Josipovic said he was pleased with the European Parliament's resolution on the progress Croatia had made in 2009, which mentioned 2010 as the year in which Zagreb might conclude accession negotiations.
