President Josipović: Cooperation with neigbours is pillar of Croatia's foreign policy (HINA)

Upon his arrival in Brussels where he will attend an international forum on Friday and Saturday, Croatian President Ivo Josipovic said that good cooperation with neighbours was one of the pillars of Croatia's foreign policy and that good neighbourly cooperation was important from the aspect of security and economy.
He added that regional cooperation was also important for economic recovery which required market expansion.
In response to questions from the press whether Croatia had concrete proposals regarding Bosnia-Herzegovina's stability, President Josipovic said that "obviously, it is necessary to work on it".
"I think that the stability of Bosnia-Herzegovina is primarily the job of the three constituent peoples there and we, their neighbours and friends, will help them in those efforts," President Josipovic added.
During his stay in Brussels, President Josipovic will hold a series of bilateral meetings on the margins of the Brussels Forum 2010, one of the biggest conferences of statesmen, business people and analysts in Europe.
Later on Friday, President Josipovic held a brief informal meeting with Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor.
"Croatia's relations with Slovenia are being considerably enhanced, not only because of progress regarding the arbitration agreement but also because of many bilateral meetings and initiatives," President Josipovic told Croatian reporters in Brussels.
Speaking of the initiative by Pahor and Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor for a recent regional conference, President Josipovic said the conference yielded certain results regardless of the fact that not all invited guests had come. Pahor said that his meeting with President Josipovic today was excellent.
