During his stay in London, Croatia's President Ivo Josipovic met with British Prime Minister David Cameron before the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games on Friday evening.
"I met with Prime Minister Cameron at a reception before the opening ceremony. Prime Minister Cameron expressed support to Croatia on its path towards the European Union and announced that after meeting all the conditions Britain will soon ratify Croatia's Accession Treaty with the European Union. I also attended a very dignified reception given by Queen Elisabeth II in Buckingham Palace with a great number of statesmen from all over the world," President Josipovic said after opening Croatia's Olympic House. Josipovic said he was delighted with last night's ceremony.
"That was an exceptional event in which much endeavour and funds have been invested as well as much inventiveness," the Croatian president said praising the host country.
