Croatian President Stjepan Mesić and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Thursday evening returned Zagreb from the NATO summit in Bucharest at which Croatia was invited to join the alliance.
The National Federation of Croatian Americans (NFCA), the umbrella organisation of the Croatian emigrants in the United States, on Thursday hailed Croatia's NATO membership invitation.
