Croatian President Stjepan Mesić handed letters of credence to Vesna Cvjetković Kurelec, the newly-appointed ambassador of Republic of Croatia to Greece, to Marica Matković, the newly-appointed ambassador of Republic of Croatia to the State of Israel and to Ivan Del Vechio, the newly-appointed ambassador of Republic of Croatia to Republic of Poland.
President Mesić underlined the importance of bilateral relations with the three countries, instructing the new ambassadors to work on the promotion of economic cooperation.
"This will be difficult considering the financial and economic crisis, but it is important for Croatia to export and to be present on the international market," President Mesić emphasized.
