Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Thursday sent a letter to South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, extending his condolences on the death of former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, the Office of the President said in a statement.
"Mr. Kim will be remembered as a great visionary and democrat and a tireless fighter for peace on the Korean Peninsula. His selfless courage and uncompromising faith in man's love of peace have left a mark and earned him great respect far beyond the borders of his country," President Mesic said in the message.
