On the occasion of Croatian Armed Forces Day, Croatian Army Day and the 30th<\/sup> anniversary of the formation of the Croatian National Guard, pursuant to the constitutional and legislative powers vested in him the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanovi\u0107 has made Decisions on Decorations, Promotions and Commendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has awarded a total of 451 decorations including one unit and 450 people as follows: four decorations of the Order of Duke Domagoj with Ribbon, two decorations of the Order of Nikola \u0160ubi\u0107 Zrinski, three decorations of the Order of Ban Jela\u010di\u0107, one decoration of the Order of Ante Star\u010devi\u0107, one decoration of the Order of the Croatian Cross, eighteen decorations of the Order of the Croatian Trefoil, thirty-nine decorations of the Order of the Croatian Interlace, five Homeland War Memorial Medals and 378 Homeland Gratitude Memorial Medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of 85 members of the Croatian Armed Forces have been promoted. Six lieutenant colonels have been promoted to the rank of colonel: Mladen Kapusti\u0107, Mladen Paun, Tomislav Pu\u0161nik, \u017deljko Ri\u010dko, Ante Samard\u017ei\u0107 and Darko Vukovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nineteen majors (including two women) have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel and one lieutenant commander has been promoted to the rank of commander. Thirty-two captains have been promoted to the rank of major (including ten women).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of fifty-eight officers have been promoted to the rank of senior officer including twelve women. Sixteen lieutenants (including three women) have been promoted to the rank of captain, and two lieutenants junior grade have been promoted to the rank of lieutenant (including one woman).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight second lieutenants have been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant (including one woman) and one ensign to the rank of lieutenant junior grade. A total of 27 junior officers have been promoted (including four women).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A total of eight members of the Croatian Armed Forces have received commendations for achieving above average results in carrying out assigned tasks: colonel Damir \u0160lat, colonel Valentin Skroza, major Mirko Luketi\u0107, captain Josip \u0160indler, sergeant first class Miljenko \u0160avori\u0107, sergeant first class Munib Had\u017ei\u0107 and private second class Dominik Maleti\u0107.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
