{"id":10238,"date":"2021-06-08T15:29:20","date_gmt":"2021-06-08T13:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=10238"},"modified":"2021-06-08T15:29:23","modified_gmt":"2021-06-08T13:29:23","slug":"president-milanovic-supports-hospitality-education-teachers-association-facilitating-education-of-persons-with-disabilities","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-milanovic-supports-hospitality-education-teachers-association-facilitating-education-of-persons-with-disabilities\/","title":{"rendered":"President Milanovi\u0107 Supports Hospitality Education Teachers\u2019 Association Facilitating Education of Persons with Disabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 met with a delegation of the Association of Hospitality Education Teachers, an alliance that facilitates the education of children without proper parental care, people with disabilities and members of other disadvantaged groups, with a view to creating equal opportunities in the community and the labour market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of the Association of Hospitality Education Teachers acquainted President Milanovi\u0107 with the Association\u2019s national project entitled \u201cA Society of Equality \u2013 Creating Equal Opportunity Societies \u2013 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.\u201d The Association plans to organize a trip for the top contestants of a culinary competition to the World Cup in Qatar, for which the hosts have also shown interest. The project would promote Croatia as a country of social awareness, while encouraging education that is accessible to all \u2013 regardless of a disability or a disadvantaged position in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives of the Association presented the group\u2019s educational activities, such as permanent cooking and other workshops, as well as efforts to raise public awareness of the obstacles that people with disabilities face, in order to increase the quality of their work and to facilitate their inclusion in the community.
