The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenkovi\u0107 has decided to hold a meeting with the college of military commanders in order to \u2013 check this out \u2013 \u2018hear about the problems facing the military\u2019. Almost until yesterday, the Prime Minister was not in the least interested in the military, and he was even less interested in its problems, trustfully referring all questions about it to his Minister of Defense Mario Bano\u017ei\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even when he was publicly warned, and prior to that by a personal letter from the President of the Republic about the concrete and exact problems \u2013 that his minister has been violating the law with his personnel decisions, causing disorder in the military hierarchy \u2013 the Prime Minister trusted only his minister. He trusted him to the extent that he declared him \u201cthe most stable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now, all of a sudden, the Prime Minister needs a meeting with the military commanders to get accurate information about the situation in the military, to hear what these problems are. He is obviously obtaining false information from his (minister). And he doesn\u2019t seem to trust his \u201cmost stable\u201d minister if military commanders need to tell him the truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s good the Prime Minister finally wants to hear about the problems in the military from those who are competent and have relevant information, namely, from the commanders, because he has not been obtaining correct information from his minister. The only question is what his Minister of Defense does and which purpose he serves?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And yes, since the Prime Minister is interested, the meeting between the President of the Republic and the military commanders has been agreed with the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj and the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defense and National Security Dragan Lozan\u010di\u0107 already a week ago, because one needs to prepare for such meetings. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
