After Andrej Plenkovi\u0107, who did that yesterday in a perfidious way, today his multipurpose yes-man Gordan Jandrokovi\u0107 blatantly lied that the President of the Republic forbade the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj to speak at the meeting of the Defense Council. It is nothing new that they are lying, but now with their lies they are putting in an uncomfortable situation the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, perfidiously attempting to drag him into a discussion in which he, as an honourable and professional soldier, does not want to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In order to protect his dignity, the Chief of the General Staff sent a letter to the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense in which he himself best described his participation in the meeting of the Defense Council. In order for the public to be accurately informed, we are publishing the letter of the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces in its entirety:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn view of the numerous media requests to comment on my participation in the Defense Council, I would like to emphasize that, as a professional soldier and as the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, I consider it inappropriate to disclose the details of the discussion from yesterday\u2019s meetings of the Defense Council and the National Security Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe that the most important thing is that the important issues related to the situation in the Armed Forces were discussed in detail, in an engaged manner and, I believe, ultimately, constructively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My presentation was in regard to the capabilities of the Armed Forces and the state of the military infrastructure. I also spoke about the details in view of achieving certain capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
