{"id":15239,"date":"2022-02-01T16:23:35","date_gmt":"2022-02-01T15:23:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=15239"},"modified":"2022-02-01T16:23:37","modified_gmt":"2022-02-01T15:23:37","slug":"president-of-the-republic-tours-kopac-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-of-the-republic-tours-kopac-exhibition\/","title":{"rendered":"President of the Republic Tours Kopa\u010d Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Together with his wife Sanja Musi\u0107 Milanovi\u0107, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 toured the exhibition by Slavko Kopa\u010d at the Me\u0161trovi\u0107 Pavilion in Zagreb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the expert guidance of the curator of the exhibition Anita Ruso Bre\u010di\u0107, President Milanovi\u0107 viewed a selection of the best visual works, sculptures and poetry by Slavko Kopa\u010d from private collections and museums, which will be on display at the Me\u0161trovi\u0107 Pavilion until late March. The exhibition by Slavko Kopa\u010d is a project of national significance which revalorizes the work and personality of Slavko Kopa\u010d, an artist whose oeuvre had a strong impact on the post-war art scene in the second half of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century at home and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition, which was organized by the Croatian Association of Artists (HDLU), ArtRencontre and Cloverfield, gives an insight into the artistic work and life of Slavko Kopa\u010d in his hometown of Vinkovci and in Zagreb, Mostar, Florence and Paris, where Kopa\u010d spent 50 years of his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from the curator of the exhibition Anita Ruso Bre\u010di\u0107, also joining President Milanovi\u0107 for the tour of the exhibition were the Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts of the University of Zagreb and President of the Croatian Association of Artists Tomislav Buntak, the Director of the Croatian Association of Artists Ivana Andabaka, and the President of the ArtRencontre Association and co-organizer of the exhibition by Slavko Kopa\u010d Tamara Flori\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Culture Zdravko Zima
