At the meeting there was also talk about possibilities for further improving cooperation between the two states in various areas, as well as Croatia\u2019s membership in the euro area and the Schengen Area, for which President Milanovi\u0107 expects Slovenian support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A topic of the meeting was also the situation in Southeast Europe, notably in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In terms of the upcoming elections in that country, President Milanovi\u0107&nbsp;reiterated his position to Foreign Minister Fajon that it was important and imperative to ensure the legitimate representation of all three constituent peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, President Milanovi\u0107 expressed satisfaction with Slovenia&#8217;s support in efforts to secure Bosnia and Herzegovina candidate status for the European Union, which he himself advocates.
