Mario Bano\u017ei\u0107, a well-known enemy of the Constitution and the law, today felt called upon to interpret the Law on Service in the Croatian Armed Forces and the right of the President of the Republic to award honorary ranks. Illiterate as he is, he probably did not even read that law, but nevertheless he tried to ascribe to himself the right to give consent to awarding honorary ranks. He would like to be consulted and for his approval to be sought on decisions that have absolutely nothing to do with him, as they fall exclusively under the authority of the President of the Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The only thing he should have done \u2013 as the law requires him to do \u2013 is to, we emphasize, propose<\/em> criteria and the procedure for the proposal, which is again ultimately prescribed and adopted by the President of the Republic. Ever since he became minister, he has not lifted a finger to propose criteria to the President of the Republic, and he continued to rudely obstruct even after the Office of the President sent him a letter on 26 July 2021, asking him to urgently submit the proposed criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The letter from which this request of the Office of the President is evident, to which the minister never responded, is attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So in this matter as well, he broke the law because he spends every ounce of his intelligence on inventing lies, scams and wrongdoings. Since Bano\u017ei\u0107 is unable to understand and implement even this simple procedure, it comes as no surprise that this repeating student, as we see, does not understand the difference between ranks and honorary ranks at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Croatian defenders and the President of the Republic cannot be held hostage by a lying obstructionist. Honorary ranks will be awarded to worthy Croatian officers, warriors who have already waited too long to be recognized in this way for their contribution in the Homeland War. Bano\u017ei\u0107, who has not an iota of respect for these honourable people, will not be asked anything, nor will it be waited for a man unworthy of the position he, unfortunately, holds, to start doing his job. At least not until the State Attorney\u2019s Office finally knocks on his door. <\/p>\n\n\n \n
