At the ceremony, red berets were awarded and the oath was taken by 50 members of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Mechanized Battalion \u201cSpiders\u201d of the Croatian Army\u2019s Guards Mechanized Brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from President Milanovi\u0107, red berets were presented to members of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Mechanized Battalion \u201cSpiders\u201d by the President of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Guards Brigade \u201cSpiders\u201d Veterans\u2019 Association Borislav Lapenda, Deputy Prime Minister and Croatia\u2019s War Veterans\u2019 Affairs Minister Tomo Medved, Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj, Chief Adviser to the Minister of Defense Major General \u017deljko \u017divanovi\u0107, Commander of the Croatian Army Lieutenant General Boris \u0160eri\u0107, Commander of the Croatian Army Guards Mechanized Brigade Brigadier General Dra\u017een Ressler, Chief of the General Staff Mirko \u0160undov (retd), Commander of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Mechanized Battalion \u201cSpiders\u201c Lieutenant Colonel Ivica Armanda, and member of the Presidency of the 4<sup>th <\/sup>Guards Brigade \u201cSpiders\u201d Veterans\u2019 Association Lieutenant Colonel Mirko \u010condi\u0107 (retd).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of marking the 32<sup>nd<\/sup> anniversary of the formation of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Guards Brigade \u201cSpiders,\u201d President Milanovi\u0107 paid tribute to the fallen, deceased and missing Croatian veterans by laying wreaths in the Holy Cross Memorial Chapel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accompanying President Milanovi\u0107 at the swearing-in ceremony and the awarding of berets to members of the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Mechanized Battalion \u201cSpiders\u201d were the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defense Ivica Oluji\u0107, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Homeland War Veterans Marijan Marekovi\u0107, Head of the Military Office in the Cabinet for Defense and
