They emphasized that it stands as the exclusive institution of higher education in Croatia where research and teaching activities are conducted in biomedicine and health within the field of veterinary sciences. Moreover, they highlighted that throughout its history, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has made significant contributions to the advancement of the veterinary profession in Croatia and the surrounding countries. Currently, the Faculty operates through four departments, bringing together a total of 25 institutes and clinics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting also addressed the current status of the veterinary profession in Croatia. The representatives of the Faculty expressed a desire for their voice to be more widely heard and their advice to be accorded greater respect. Additionally, they delved into ongoing issues, with a primary focus on addressing the challenges faced by the veterinary profession.
