President Milanovi\u0107 appointed Major General Tihomir Kundid to the post of Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces based on the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and after obtaining the opinion of the Defence Committee of the Croatian Parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before appointing him to the post of Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, on the basis of his constitutional and legal powers, and on the proposal of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Ivan Anu\u0161i\u0107, President Milanovi\u0107 on 29 February 2024 reached a Decision on the Extraordinary Promotion of Active Major General Tihomir Kundid to the rank of Lieutenant General Armour.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After appointing him Chief of the GS of the CAF, President Milanovi\u0107 held a working meeting with Lieutenant General Kundid in the Office of the President of the Republic.
