It has the status of intangible cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia. This year\u2019s edition of the \u201cEaster Holster of Kostel\u201d was held at the traditional location, the medieval fortress of Kostelgrad. The event started in 1523 as a custom of shooting from a pistol at Easter time, also marking the arrival of spring. It remains an all but unchanged tradition to this day and a popular tourist attraction, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Milanovi\u0107 was accompanied by Melita Muli\u0107, Adviser to the President
