{"id":30313,"date":"2024-05-21T16:23:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-21T14:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=30313"},"modified":"2024-05-22T09:24:43","modified_gmt":"2024-05-22T07:24:43","slug":"president-milanovic-views-exhibition-at-37th-youth-salon","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-milanovic-views-exhibition-at-37th-youth-salon\/","title":{"rendered":"President Milanovi\u0107 Views Exhibition at 37th Youth Salon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 visited the main exhibition at the 37<sup>th<\/sup> Youth Salon, entitled \u201cPao sat u bunar\u201d [Time Fell Down the Well], which opened on 25 April 2024, at the Home of Croatian Artists in the Me\u0161trovi\u0107 Pavilion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Youth Salon is a biennial event and the largest national exhibition for visual artists under the age of 35. This year\u2019s 37<sup>th<\/sup> edition is organized by the Croatian Society of Fine Artists and is held under the auspices of President Milanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accompanied by Josip Zanki, Vice-President of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists, Ivana Andabak, Director of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists, and under the expert guidance of curator Lovro Japund\u017ei\u0107, President Milanovi\u0107 viewed the works of 31 artists who responded to the theme of the competition. According to Japund\u017ei\u0107, the exhibition explores the possibilities that arise from non-conformity to the normative course of time, utilizing all the spaces in the Me\u0161trovi\u0107 Pavilion and showcasing many new artistic talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s Youth Salon extends beyond the Me\u0161trovi\u0107 Pavilion, featuring parallel exhibitions at various city locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over its 50-year history, the Salon has presented more than 3,500 artists, consistently introducing new names to the Croatian art scene.
