The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 today received the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Ur\u0161ka Klako\u010dar Zupan\u010di\u010d, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday, I met with and spoke with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Ur\u0161ka Klako\u010dar Zupan\u010di\u010d, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Croatia. This was an opportunity to once again affirm with satisfaction the long-standing continuity of excellent relations between our two countries. The friendly state relations between Croatia and Slovenia are incredibly important, as this is what our people on both sides of the border \u2013 who have always lived in harmony \u2013 expect. Slovenia is Croatia\u2019s best neighbour, and it would be wonderful if we could foster such relations with our other neighbouring countries,\u201d President Milanovi\u0107 said after the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanying the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia at the meeting were the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Croatia, Ga\u0161per Dov\u017ean; Member of the National Assembly and Chair of the Friendship Group with the Republic of Croatia, Nata\u0161a Av\u0161i\u010d Bogovi\u010d; Secretary of the National Assembly, Office of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Katja Mihelj Nagode; Secretary of the Department for International Affairs, Protocol, and Translation of the National Assembly, Sta\u0161a Kobi \u0160mid; and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in the Republic of Croatia, Miha Fatur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanying President Milanovi\u0107 were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Slovenia, Boris Grigi\u0107; Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Bartol \u0160imuni\u0107; Adviser to the President of the Republic for Foreign and European Policy, Neven Pelicari\u0107; Adviser to the President of the Republic for National Security, Dragan Lozan\u010di\u0107; and Secretary of the Cabinet for Foreign and European Policy in the Office of the President of the Republic, Ivan Mutavd\u017ei\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
