{"id":36349,"date":"2025-03-12T13:44:16","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T12:44:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=36349"},"modified":"2025-03-12T13:44:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T12:44:16","slug":"president-milanovic-receives-representatives-of-tourist-board-of-nin-and-sokolari-association-of-nin","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-milanovic-receives-representatives-of-tourist-board-of-nin-and-sokolari-association-of-nin\/","title":{"rendered":"President Milanovi\u0107 Receives Representatives of Tourist Board of Nin and \u0160okolari Association of Nin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 received today representatives of the Tourist Board of the town of Nin and the \u0160okolari Association of Nin who informed him of preparations for this year\u2019s \u0160okolijada, the most significant gastronomic event of the town of Nin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This unique event was launched 23 years ago to preserve the tradition of making an exceptionally high quality and rare delicacy \u2013 \u0161okol and to expand family production. It is a traditional cured meat product that has been prepared since the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century, and thanks to the Nin \u0161okolijada, the tradition of making this very rare and indigenous Nin product has been preserved.
