{"id":38601,"date":"2025-07-02T14:53:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T12:53:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=38601"},"modified":"2025-07-02T14:53:19","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T12:53:19","slug":"president-milanovic-supports-project-qart-community-artcare-centre","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-milanovic-supports-project-qart-community-artcare-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"President Milanovi\u0107 Supports Project Q\u2019ART COMMUNITY ART&amp;CARE Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 received today the team of authors of the Imagine Platform Art Organization and the Ilica Q&#8217;art project Ivana Nikoli\u0107 and Aleksandra Battista Ili\u0107 and content creator Andrea Krka\u010d who presented their new initiative to him \u2013 the Q&#8217;ART COMMUNITY ART&amp;CARE centre project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Presenting their initiative to President Milanovi\u0107, the authors emphasized that the Centre is conceived as a space for a new social and cultural model in which art, health, community and sustainability become a single whole that has the power to regenerate the city and society. It is also a pilot model for the revitalization of neglected state spaces, which would begin in Zagreb, on the ground floor of a building located at Ilica 71 \u2013 a space in the very centre of the city that has been vacant and dilapidated for more than 25 years, in a building of exceptional cultural and historical value, they said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repurposing this space into the Q&#8217;ART COMMUNITY ART&amp;CARE centre would open up space for artistic research, personal development, creative expression, art therapy, education, and social inclusion, especially for vulnerable groups. This model of repurposing space would become an example of regenerative and inclusive action in Croatia.
