Accompanying the students were the principal of Zabok Secondary School, Dra\u017eenka Jurec, teacher and team mentor, Marija Dlesk, as well as Krapina-Zagorje County-Prefect, \u017deljko Kolar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the meeting, the students acquainted President Milanovi\u0107 with the EPAS (European Parliament Ambassador School) programme, which has existed at the European Union level since 2016 and is funded by the EU Parliament. They explained that in every state there are secondary schools in the role of ambassador schools, and at the school level, a team of students who are called junior ambassadors of the EU Parliament. Zabok Secondary School joined this project after cooperating with the European Commission Representation, in whose competition they won in 2022 and, as partners, organized the main celebration of the Year of Youth in Zagreb, and were included in the EPAS programme in the same school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of the team&#8217;s obligations, they stated that, among other things, they implement mandatory EU educational modules and educate peers about the EU, its member states, values, institutions, programmes, current events, cooperate with other EPAS schools at the national and international levels, and promote the programme to the public.
