As host, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 participated in the \u201cDiplomatic Grape Harvest\u201d in Ple\u0161ivica, an event organized for heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to the Republic of Croatia. The event was organized by the Town of Jastrebarsko, and this year\u2019s \u201cDiplomatic Grape Harvest\u201d in Jaska took place at the Re\u017eek family vineyard in Loko\u0161in Dol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the grape harvest began, diplomats accredited to the Republic of Croatia were welcomed by Jastrebarsko Mayor Zvonimir Novosel and winemaker and host Kre\u0161imir Re\u017eek. The Re\u017eek family is one of the oldest wine-growing and winemaking families in Ple\u0161ivica, with a tradition dating back to the 18th<\/sup> century. Today, the Re\u017eek family successfully combines its rich family heritage with a modern approach to the production of wines and sparkling wines, showcasing the quality and potential of the Ple\u0161ivica wine region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held for the eleventh time this year, the \u201cDiplomatic Grape Harvest\u201d is a traditional event and an opportunity to promote not only the Ple\u0161ivica region but also Croatian culture and traditions associated with the customs of grape harvesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
