{"id":5349,"date":"2020-09-14T16:12:58","date_gmt":"2020-09-14T14:12:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=5349"},"modified":"2020-09-14T16:12:59","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T14:12:59","slug":"president-of-the-republic-meets-with-municipality-of-malinska-dubasnica-delegation-on-haludovo-issue","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.predsjednik.hr\/en\/news\/president-of-the-republic-meets-with-municipality-of-malinska-dubasnica-delegation-on-haludovo-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"President of the Republic Meets with Municipality of Malinska-Duba\u0161nica Delegation on Haludovo Issue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The President of the Republic Zoran Milanovi\u0107 met with a delegation of the Municipality of Malinska \u2013 Duba\u0161nica, composed of Head of Municipality Robert Anton Kralji\u0107, Chair of the Municipal Council Mirjana Mar\u0161i\u0107, Co-chair of the Municipal Council Zdenko Cerovi\u0107 and the municipality\u2019s legal adviser \u0110or\u0111e Perkovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives of the Municipality of Malinska \u2013 Duba\u0161nica requested a meeting with the President in order to inform him about the situation at the hotel and resort complex of Haludovo, which has stood dilapidated and abandoned for more than 20 years and which, they warned, poses a sanitary, environmental and security threat. Haludovo is privately owned, but to date its reconstruction has not begun, although the municipality has adopted a detailed development plan that has been in force since 2006 and, according to the municipal representatives, provides all necessary preconditions for starting reconstruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Head of the Municipality of Malinska \u2013 Duba\u0161nica and his associates informed President Milanovi\u0107 about the Haludovo privatization process that was undertaken, and about all other activities they have performed to date to make the start of reconstruction possible. They provided him with an overview of the documentation in this respect. They also informed him about the municipality\u2019s initiative to abolish the detailed Haludovo development plan as part of the upcoming amendments to the Spatial Plan, if construction does not commence.
