The representatives of the FICC presented the new edition of the White Book \u201cCompetitiveness Has no Alternative\u201d to President Milanovi\u0107 and provided an overview on the content of the document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The White Book has been published regularly since 2013 and is the first document of its kind in which members of the Foreign Investors Council of Croatia (FICC) give their views on the current environment for foreign investments and constructive recommendations that encourage positive changes in the Croatian business environment. With President Milanovi\u0107 they discussed the current situation concerning foreign investments in Croatia and the content of the new edition of the White Book, its conclusions and recommendations as well as how to implement them in order to improve the business climate in terms of foreign investments in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to FICC president Mladen Fogec, the new edition of the White Book emphasizes the importance and necessity of a business climate that encourages the speed of decision-making and investment business processes, which directly contributes to competitiveness, accelerates development, stimulates return, stops emigration and attracts people whose ideas, capital and productivity can contribute to the development of the Republic of Croatia. On behalf of the FICC, Fogec expressed satisfaction at President Milanovi\u0107 having recognized the significance of this document, and underlined that they are open for dialogue on joint efforts aimed at improving the business climate and foreign investments in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the delegation of the Foreign Investment Council in Croatia\u2019s meeting with President Milanovi\u0107 were president Mladen Fogec, vice-presidents Tomislav \u0160lat and Viktor Pavlini\u0107, members of the Board of Directors Vedrana Jelu\u0161i\u0107 Ka\u0161i\u0107 and Zolt\u00e1n \u00c1ldott as well as secretary-general Sandro Bari\u010devi\u0107.
