The hotel will employ about 300 people. This is the largest tourist investment in Rijeka and one of the largest in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, the President of the Republic said that he likes how the Hilton Rijeka Costabella Resort &amp; SPA looks, especially how it fits into the area. Namely, like all other buildings \u2013 and similar to the people of this region \u2013 it is visible but does not stand out too much and isn\u2019t obtrusive, said the President. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWelcome to a corner of solid, decent Croatian architecture and public space planning \u2013 and we all know how difficult it is (to achieve that) because demands are great, a lot of money is out there, a lot of greed, and it is not easy to incorporate serious investment ambitions into an environment that needs to be preserved, precisely so people will come here,\u201d said President Milanovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI wish you a successful business, for people to come here and rest, to spend, so you don\u2019t have to sell what you have invested and so you do your best to continue investing.
