President Milanović Pays Tribute to the Fallen on Croatian Armed Forces Day

On the occasion of Croatian Armed Forces Day, Croatian Army Day and the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Croatian National Guard, the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović laid wreaths and lit candles at the “Voice of the Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain” Memorial, at the Central Cross in the Alley of the Fallen Croatian Defenders, at the tomb of the first President of the Republic of Croatia Dr. Franjo Tuđman and at the common grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland War at the Crematorium – Cenotaph at Mirogoj Cemetery in Zagreb.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj, Commander of the Croatian Navy Rear Admiral Ivo Raffanelli, Commander of the Croatian Air Force Brigadier General Michael Križanec, Director of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Brigadier General Ivica Olujić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defense and National Security Dragan Lozančić and Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Homeland War Veterans Marijan Mareković were with President Milanović.
