President Milanović Tours Areas Affected by Fires near Seget Gornji
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović has met with Firefighter Chief Commander Slavko Tucaković, Colonel Robert Suntešić and Split Dalmatia County Firefighting Commander Ivan Kovačević, and discussed the situation on the areas consumed by fires in Seget Gornji near Trogir and Mirlović in Šibenik-Knin County.
During his visit to the Operational Fire Command of the Republic of Croatia at Divulje air base in Split, fire command and Croatian Air Force representatives briefed President Milanović about firefighting efforts and measures taken thus far in battling the fires as well as the assistance provided by the Croatian army in firefighting interventions.
President Milanović toured the areas consumed by the fires near Seget Gornji by helicopter in the company of the Firefighter Chief Commander, witnessing the extent of the damage caused by the fires. President Milanović thanked the firefighters and all those who battled the fires for their dedication and efforts in containing the fire
