Valentino Franjić Appointed Head of Office of National Security Council

Pursuant to Article 10 of the Law on the Security and Intelligence System of the Republic of Croatia, the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister co-signed on 1 September 2021 the appointment of Valentino Franjić, MSc, Head of the Office of the National Security Council.

Mr. Franjić is a law graduate and holds a master’s degree in political science. He has longstanding work experience in the security and intelligence system. Between 2011 and 2018, he was Assistant Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency.

The past Head of the Office of the National Security Council Maja Čavlović has been relieved of her duty due to the expiration of her mandate on 31 August 2021.
