President Milanović Meets with Chief of the U.S. National Guard Bureau General Daniel Hokanson

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today in the Office of the President the Chief of the United States National Guard Bureau General Daniel Hokanson.

The meeting discussed the cooperation to date between the Croatian Armed Forces and the Minnesota National Guard, which was mutually assessed as very successful. Support for the further strengthening and development of the current partnership was also expressed at the meeting.

Attending the meeting in the Office of the President alongside General Hokanson were the Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim, in the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Croatia Mark Fleming, Defense Attaché in the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Croatia Colonel Matt Denny, Member of the Working Group for Activities with Leading Officials of the U.S. National Guard Bureau Dr. John Finney and Second Secretary in the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Croatia Cameron Millard.

Attending the meeting alongside President Milanović were the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defense and National Security Dragan Lozančić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Foreign and European Policy Ambassador Neven Pelicarić and Director of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Major General Ivica Olujić.
