President Milanović Receives Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Boris Kollár

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović has received the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Boris Kollár, who is in the Republic of Croatia on an official visit.

The excellent bilateral relations between the two friendly and allied countries were discussed at the meeting. As an additional link between the two countries, the minorities were also mentioned and satisfaction was expressed with the position of the Croatian minority in the Slovak Republic and the Slovak minority in the Republic of Croatia. Furthermore, views were exchanged on the situation in Southeast Europe, whereby President Milanović informed the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic about the positions of the Republic of Croatia regarding the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Alongside the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Boris Kollár were the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Croatia Peter Susko, members of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Peter Pčolinský and Miloš Svrček, head of the Office of the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Daniel Guspan and adviser to the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Juraj Priputen.

Attending the meeting alongside President Milanović were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to the Slovak Republic Aleksandar Heina, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić, representative of the Czech and Slovak national minority in the Croatian Parliament Vladimir Bilek, Secretary General of the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia Mirjam Katulić and Secretary of the Cabinet of Foreign and European Policy Ivan Mutavdžić.
