President Milanović to Pay Official Visit on Wednesday to North Macedonia
The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović will pay an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia on Wednesday at the invitation of President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, with whom he will meet and hold talks in Skopje. During his official stay in North Macedonia, President Milanović will also meet with the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski.
The expected topics of discussion include bilateral relations between the two countries, North Macedonia’s European integration, the situation in Southeast Europe, cooperation in regional organizations, preparations for the upcoming NATO summit, of which both countries are members, and the global situation. The bilateral relations between Croatia and North Macedonia are traditionally friendly and without open issues, and Croatia has strongly supported North Macedonia’s European path from the start, providing expert assistance in preparing for accession negotiations.
As part of the official visit, President Milanović will also meet with representatives of the Croatian community in the Republic of North Macedonia and with members of the Croatian Business Club, which brings together Croatian entrepreneurs and representatives of Croatian companies operating in the Macedonian market.
