President of the Republic Receives Creative and Cultural Industry Cluster Representatives

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received representatives of the Croatian cluster of competitiveness of creative and cultural industries. The delegation included the President of the Cluster of Creative and Cultural Industries Ivana Nikolić Popović, Professor Bojan Baletić of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Architecture, Professor Aleksandar Battista Ilić of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and Dean of the Academy of Dramatic Arts Franka Perković.

Representatives of the cluster pointed out to the President of the Republic the importance and need for supporting the creative and cultural industries. They emphasized that Croatia has great potential in this sector because through its activities it can provide high added value to other branches of the economy, especially tourism. It was underscored at the meeting that the development of a strategy for creative activities and industries, as well as institutional and infrastructural support for the advancement of creative and cultural industries, is particularly significant for this sector.
