President of the Republic Visits Donja Lastva and Kotor
On the second day of his official visit to Montenegro, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanović visited Donja Lastva and Kotor where he met with members of the Croatian community in Montenegro.
Members of the Croatian National Council of Montenegro thanked President Milanović for coming and for his support, which, it was said at the meeting in the Croatian Lodge, means a lot to them. During their conversation with the President, members of the Croatian community informed President Milanović about the status of Croats in Montenegro, which was described as satisfactory. They mentioned that although there are not many of them, they do not feel inferior and have made an enormous contribution to culture in Montenegro. The Croatian national minority in Montenegro expects a lasting solution to be reached on the status of the Croatian Lodge in Donja Lastva and Croatian Radio Dux.
The President of the Republic concluded his official visit to Montenegro in Kotor, where together with his host the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović he visited the Bokelj Navy and reviewed its guard of honour, as well as the Croatian Civil Society of Montenegro and the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon.
