The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović viewed on Saturday evening a play entitled “Tere i Luce“ in the “Histrionski dom” in Zagreb. It is a play of the independent Planet Art Theatre, directed by Marko Torjanac, and featuring actresses Anja Šovagović-Despot and Nataša Janjić-Medančić.

The play “Tere i Luce” was inspired by the unperformed text “No Good Deeds…” by S. Evans, which has been fully adapted for Croatia. “Rich in genres, plain and intriguing in its content, witty in its dialogue and recognizable in its characters, “Tere i Luce” speaks about society today and, like any good comedy, offers us a mirror”, says the official announcement of the play, which has been performed one hundred times so far and thus has become one of the most performed plays of the Planet Art Theatre.

The Planet Art Theatre recently celebrated 20 years of continuous activity, and the play “Tere i Luce” is one in a series of successful plays of this independent theatre that does not have its own hall but performs its plays on the stages of other theatres. The Planet Art Theatre’s plays have been performed a total of 1,800 times in the past 20 years, and have been seen by more than half a million theatregoers in Croatia and abroad.

Accompanying President Milanović at the play was the Special Adviser to the President for Culture, Zdravko Zima.
