Envoy of the President Ivica Olujić Laid Wreaths at Mirogoj Cemetery on the Croatian Army Day
On the occasion of the Croatian Army Day, and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Croatian National Guard, the envoy of the President of the Republic and the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Defence Ivica Olujić and a delegation laid wreaths and lit candles at the Mirogoj City Cemetery in Zagreb.
Wreaths from the President of the Republic were laid in front of the monument of the Common Grave for Unidentified Victims of the Homeland War at the Crematorium – Cenotaph, the Grave of the first President of the Republic of Croatia Franjo Tuđman, the monument “Voice of the Croatian Victim – Wall of Pain” and in front of the Central Cross in the Alley of Fallen Defenders at the Mirogoj City Cemetery in Zagreb.
Alongside the envoy the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia were Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Tihomir Kundid, Commander of the Command and Operations Centre of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Brigadier General Željko Ljubas, and Commander of Support Command Colonel Mile Vukičević.
