We are not just celebrating 100 years of existence, but also 100 years of devotion, bravery, and togetherness. This is a story about people and values passed down from one generation to another to the pride of Konjščina, whole Zagorje, and entire firefighting community in Croatia,” said Malek-Solgat.
Konjščina Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1926. Today, the VFD has 117 members, 72 of which are active operatives, and 32 of which are young volunteers, which they are especially proud of.
