President Milanović Receives Delegation of Petrijanec Municipality and their Municipal Volunteer Fire Departments
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received the Head of the Municipality of Petrijanec Željko Posavec and the representatives of three of their municipal local volunteer fire departments that are celebrating special anniversaries this year.
Under the auspices of the President of the Republic, the Volunteer Fire Department of Petrijanec will celebrate 110 years of activity, the Volunteer Fire Department of Nova Ves 100 years, and the Volunteer Fire Department of Družbinec 70 years. President Milanović congratulated all the members of these Volunteer Fire Departments on their jubilees, and told them to persevere in preserving the tradition of volunteer firefighting, which promotes local and national values, and customs among other things.
Attending the meeting in addition to the Head of the Municipality of Petrijanec Željko Posavec were the president of the Municipal Fire Department Nataša Šincek, the president of the Volunteer Fire Department Darjan Lukaček, the deputy fire chief of the VFD Valentino Jovan and the secretary of the Volunteer Fire Department Andrijana Kolarić. Representing Nova Ves were the president of the VFD Nenad Tomašek and the fire chief of the VFD Krunoslav Jovan, and representing Družbinec was the president of the VFD Maja Plemenčić and the fire chief of the VFD David Dombaj.
Alongside the President of the Republic was the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić.
