Greetings from the President of the Republic on the Occasion of the Passover Holiday

The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović extended his greetings to Jewish believers on the occasion of the Passover holiday, with the following message:

“I congratulate all citizens of the Jewish faith in the Republic of Croatia on the occasion of Passover and wish them all the best. The message of Passover strengthens the power of trust and unity as a response to the challenges and difficulties that every individual and community faces. Just as Passover is a holiday of hope that celebrates the liberation from slavery and emphasizes the importance of freedom for every person and nation, I express my sincere hope that it remains possible to achieve peace and freedom in the world in accordance with the values of Passover.

With the wish that you spend these festive days surrounded by family and friends, and in prosperity, I once again congratulate all our fellow citizens of the Jewish faith on the greatest Jewish holiday. Chag Pesach Sameach!”
