On the Occasion of All Saints’ Day, the President’s Envoy Lays Wreaths at Mirogoj
On the occasion of All Saints’ Day, the envoy of the President of the Republic of Croatia and Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic, Bartol Šimunić, laid wreaths and lit candles at Mirogoj City Cemetery.
Wreaths on behalf of the President of the Republic were laid at the “Voice of the Croatian Victims – Wall of Pain” Memorial in remembrance of all victims of the Homeland War; at the Tomb of the People’s Heroes in honour of the heroes of the anti-fascist struggle; and at the Central Cross in the Alley of the Fallen Croatian Defenders in memory of the fallen and deceased Croatian veterans. In addition, a wreath on behalf of the President of the Republic was laid at the memorial of the Joint Tomb for Unidentified Victims of the Homeland War at the Crematorium, in remembrance of all unidentified victims of the war.
