On the Occasion of Victory Over Fascism Day, Envoy of the President of the Republic Pays Tribute at Tomb of National Heroes
On the occasion of marking Victory Over Fascism Day, the envoy of the President of the Republic of Croatia Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić today paid tribute to the fallen by lighting a candle at the Tomb of National Heroes at Mirogoj Cemetery.
The 9th of May is celebrated in Europe as Europe Day, and as Victory Over Fascism Day, commemorating the beginning of the European Union’s establishment and the final defeat of Nazi Germany and the end of World War II.
