President Attends Tisno Municipal Day Celebration

The President of the Republic attended a special session of the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Tisno on the occasion of Municipal Day.

Congratulating the residents of Tisno on their Municipal Day and St. Martin’s Day, President Milanović recalled his first arrival to Tisno in 2007, commenting on the current situation. “I see that your team is good and you are doing a good job”, he said.

“Financial indicators are as they should be, tourism is making a comeback. I have no advice for you, you know what is best for you and just continue like this”, President Milanović stated.

Addressing the gathering at the special session of the Municipal Council of Tisno were the president of the Municipal Council NIkša Pirjak, the head of the Municipality Kristijan Jareb, the deputy mayor of Valpovo on behalf of the twin city Marko Barešić and the Šibenik-Knin County prefect Marko Jelić. Awards and recognitions of the Municipality of Tisno were presented. Alongside President Milanović was his Adviser for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić.
