President Milanović and Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Bauer Discuss Security Situation in Europe

The President of the Republic of Croatia and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović has received the Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Armed Forces.

The meeting discussed the security situation in the world and, above all, Europe in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, as well as NATO’s position and strategy since the war is taking place along the Alliance’s eastern borders.

Attending the meeting with President Milanović alongside Admiral Rob Bauer were Public Affairs and StratCom Advisor Eleonora Russel, Major Mark Brouwer and Aide-de-Camp to the Admiral Senior Captain Vincent Cordier.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Admiral Robert Hranj, Director of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Major General Ivica Olujić, Deputy Military Representative of the Republic of Croatia at NATO Colonel Emilio Turina, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Defence and National Security Dragan Lozančić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Foreign and European Policy Neven Pelicarić and Head of the Military Office in the Cabinet for Defence and National Security at the Office of the President Rear Admiral Predrag Stipanović were in the company of the President of the Republic.
