President Milanović at the 25thAnniversary of the Ulysses Theatre
The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović and his spouse, Prof. Dr. Sanja Musić Milanović, attended the ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Ulysses Theatre, which took place on Saturday evening in the impressive setting of the Small Roman Theatre in Pula.
Accompanied by a rich musical and theatrical programme directed by Lenka Udovički, those gathered celebrated a quarter of a century of artistic creation by one of the most significant theatre projects in the region. The event brought together some of the most prominent musical and theatrical figures, including the host, Rade Šerbedžija, Darko Rundek, Damir Urban, Vlatko Stefanovski, Miroslav Tadić & Yvette Holzwarth, Livio Morosin, Vlado Kreslin, Maja Posavec, Mostar Sinfonietta, the ensemble Putokazi, and numerous surprise guests.
Ulysses Theatre, founded in 2001 on the initiative of actor and director Rade Šerbedžija and writer Borislav Vujčić, has grown over the years into an internationally recognized arts centre. Located in the unique setting of the island of Veliki Brijun, the theatre fosters values of collaboration, artistic exchange, youth education, and the development of an open and innovative theatrical expression.
