President Milanović Attends “Branje Grojzdja” Grape Harvest Finale in Croatian Zagorje
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović participated today in the finale of the 54th edition of the grape harvest event “Branje grojzdja” in Pregrada. The “Branje grojzdja” event is a local traditional celebration held under the auspices of the President of the Republic, aimed at nurturing the customs of the Croatian Zagorje region related to grape harvesting and processing.
The event has been celebrated for over half a century, taking place in the second half of September in the town of Pregrada. Its purpose is to preserve traditional customs and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Croatian Zagorje.
Accompanied by the host, Mayor Marko Vešligaj of Pregrada, and Željko Kolar, Krapina-Zagorje County Prefect, President Milanović visited the exhibitors who unveiled various products and traditional dishes from the region.
Velibor Mačkić, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy, accompanied President Milanović.
