President Milanović Extends Greetings for Kurban Bajram

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović sent the following message to Croatian citizens of the Islamic faith on the occasion of the feast of Kurban Bajram:

“I extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of Kurban Bajram to all Croatian citizens of the Islamic faith. May this great holiday, which is especially important for all believers, bring peace and joy to the homes of all our fellow citizens of the Islamic faith with its strong message of sacrifice and solidarity. The celebration of this holiday also promotes the values​​that should be the foundation of every human society, namely humanity, charity and tolerance.

The Islamic community in Croatia has long contributed to mutual respect through its activities, and has made Croatian society an example of openness and cooperation. With the wish that it remains so, I once again congratulate all citizens of the Islamic faith on Eid al-Adha. Bajram serif mubarek olsun.”
