President Milanović Meets with Delegation of Tiger 90/91 Rakitje Association

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today in the Office of the President a delegation of the Tiger 90/91 Rakitje Association composed of its President Petar Bajan, members of the Presidency Nikola Županić and Zdravko Andabak, and Association member Miodrag Demo.

The activities of the Tiger 90/91 Rakitje Association to date were discussed at the meeting, as well as its future plans that include the establishment of a memorial centre that would serve to honour the memory of the wartime service of the special unit from the town of Rakitje. In this context, the representatives of the Association informed President Milanović about the issues that the Association and its members are facing. The post-earthquake reconstruction of the Banija area was also discussed at the meeting.

Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Homeland War Veterans Marijan Mareković was alongside President Milanović at the meeting.
