President Milanović Meets with Organizers of the Zagreb VINOcom Festival

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today with the organizers of the international wine and gastronomy festival Zagreb VINOcom, which will be held for the eighteenth time, this year under the patronage of the President of the Republic.

At the meeting held in the Office of the President, the founder and director of the Festival, Ivan Dropuljić, and the head of marketing, Filip Dropuljić, informed President Milanović about this first, largest, and most popular wine festival – not only in Croatia but also in the wider region. Since 2006, the Zagreb VINOcom Festival has been held at the Esplanade Hotel on the last weekend of November. This year, the organizers expect around 230 exhibitors. In addition to the traditional exhibition segment, which allows for so-called “walk-around tastings” of various domestic and international wines, visitors will have the opportunity to personally meet the winemakers through attractive and educational workshops, it was said at the meeting.

President Milanović was accompanied at the meeting by Velibor Mačkić, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy.
