President Milanović Meets with President of Croatian National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today in Zagreb with Dragan Čović, the President of the Croatian National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Milanović and Dragan Čović discussed the months-long political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the need to end the open issue of electoral law reform. The electoral law reform would help achieve the necessary internal inter-ethnic consolidation.

The Dayton Agreement enabled the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the legitimate representation of all its constituent peoples. The two leaders concluded that constitutional equality and legitimate representation in the upper house of Parliament and the Presidency must be implemented through the electoral law of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
