President Milanović Meets with President of Malta George Vella in Rome
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today in Rome with the President of the Republic of Malta George Vella. The bilateral meeting of the two presidents was held on the eve of the 16th Meeting of the Arraiolos Group in which the Heads of EU Member States are participating. The 16th Meeting of the Arraiolos Group will take place on Wednesday in Rome at the invitation of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
Presidents Milanović and Vella discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, which were assessed as excellent and exchanged views on the topics of the upcoming meeting of the Heads of EU Member States.
The leaders also exchanged information on the situation in Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean. President Milanović invited President Vella to pay an official visit to Croatia, which the Maltese President accepted and confirmed that his visit to Croatia would take place in late October.
